Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what information NovaStream Media Ltd. (“we”, “us”) collects when you use our streaming service, why we collect it, and the choices you have.

1. Information we collect

• Account data: name, email address, password (hashed), language and country.
• Billing data: payment method identifiers and invoices processed by PCI-DSS-compliant payment providers. We never store full card numbers.
• Usage data: titles watched, playback progress, device type, app version, approximate network performance metrics.
• Cookies and similar technologies: strictly necessary cookies for sign-in, plus optional analytics cookies you can decline.

2. How we use information

• to provide, operate and improve the Service (recommendations, watchlists, continue-watching);
• to process payments and manage subscriptions;
• to provide customer support and prevent abuse or fraud;
• to send service announcements; marketing emails are opt-in only.

3. Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with processors that help us run the Service — payment providers, cloud hosting, email delivery and analytics — under contractual confidentiality obligations, and where required by law.

4. Data retention

Account data is retained while your subscription is active and for up to 24 months afterwards for legal and accounting purposes. Usage history tied to a profile is deleted within 30 days of account closure upon request.

5. Your rights

You may request access, correction, export or deletion of your personal data at any time via the Help Center. If you are located in the EEA/UK you additionally have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.

6. Security

We use TLS encryption in transit, encryption at rest for sensitive fields, hashed credentials and least-privilege access controls. No system is perfectly secure; we encourage unique passwords and prompt reporting of suspected compromise.

7. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or higher threshold where applicable). Kids profiles provide age-appropriate content and controls, but accounts must be created by an adult.

8. Changes to this policy

When this policy changes materially we will notify registered users by email before the new version takes effect. The “last updated” date above always reflects the current version.
